Surabaya (15/7) – The Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of East Java (Diskop UMKM Jawa Timur) hosted the "Networking and Gathering for East Java Startups" event, attended by various prominent entrepreneurs and startups from East Java. During the event, Margaret Srijaya was invited to discuss the importance of networking and collaboration in accelerating the growth of SMEs and startups in the region. Participants gained insights into strategies for developing businesses and leveraging opportunities in both local and global markets. The lively discussions also provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and build mutually beneficial relationships.
As part of the event, Margaret Srijaya also introduced "Surabaya Startup Fest 1.0," a competition organized by Ozora Yatrapaktaja. The competition offers participants the chance to showcase their innovations and business ideas. Attendees are encouraged to register for the event and present the products or services they have developed. "Surabaya Startup Fest 1.0" is expected to serve as a platform to support the growth of the startup ecosystem in Surabaya and East Java, strengthening collaboration among industry players.
